"This is what a crime against humanity looks like": Israel's President responds to the return of the captives - Or, Eli and Ohad

Welcome back! Ohad Ben-Ami, Or Levi, and Eliyahu Sahrabi arrived at the initial reception point in the Gaza Envelope.

IDF Manpower and Medical Corps personnel accompany the returning civilians, and they will undergo an initial medical assessment.

IDF representatives are with the families waiting at the hospital, providing them with regular updates.

IDF commanders and soldiers salute and embrace the returnees on their way home.

The IDF spokesperson asks the public to show responsibility and sensitivity and to respect the privacy of the returnees.

The President of the State of Israel, Isaac Herzog, responds to the release of the captives: "This is what a crime against humanity looks like! The entire world must look directly at Ohad, Or, and Eli - who returned from 491 painful days of hell in captivity, emaciated and harmed, and were exploited in a cynical and evil ceremony by cursed murderers.

We are comforted by the fact that they are returning alive to the arms of their loved ones. Since the return from captivity of Raz, Ohad's wife, she and their three warrior daughters - Yuli, Ella, and Natali - have fought tenaciously at home and worldwide for his return. Completing a hostage deal is a humane, moral, and Jewish act. It is essential to bring back all our sisters and brothers from the hell of captivity in Gaza - every last one of them!"
