EL-AL is upgrading the 'King David' Lounge.
The airline is embarking on a project to upgrade the lounge at Ben Gurion Airport as part of an effort to enhance the service experience for its passengers.
As part of the renovation, starting on February 16, 2025, and expected to end in March, the main lounge will be temporarily closed, and eligible passengers will be directed to various hosting alternatives.
The frequent flyer lounge for TOP PLATINUM status clients, adjacent to the main lounge, will remain active and continue to host passengers. It will undergo adjustments later to enhance the hosting experience.
Business class passengers and PLATINUM clients will be directed to the new 'Dan' lounge in terminal E, offering advanced hosting services and a culinary menu based on dishes from the main lounge.
GOLD clients will receive hosting vouchers for restaurants and cafes that have agreements at the airport. In cases of full occupancy at the 'Dan' lounge, eligible passengers will receive alternative hosting vouchers.
Upon completion of the work, an official announcement will be made on the reopening date of the 'King David' Lounge.
"As part of the process we are leading to upgrade the quality and service experience on the ground and in the air, the beloved 'King David' Lounge will undergo a transformation to offer our clients a luxurious and advanced hosting experience, while maintaining the high standards we are committed to," stated Oren Cohen Botnizki, Vice President of Customers and Service at EL-AL.
