General Manager Lufthansa Group in Israel leaves his position.

Marcus Hagenbruch appointed in March 2022 announced that he has completed his tenure as GM of the group after three years in the role.

In his announcement on LinkedIn, Hegenbroch writes: "As one chapter closes, another begins! End of January marked the end of my tenure as General Manager of the Lufthansa Group in Israel, concluding three unforgettable and impactful years.

This journey has been transformational, both professionally and personally, and I am deeply grateful for the experiences and people who made it special."

Hagenbruch further writes: "Their passion and resilience made every challenge easier and every success more rewarding. From family trips to Germany to beach cleanups along the Israeli coast, our amazing team spirit extended far beyond business. Working in the StartUpNation has been eye-opening. Beyond work, I had the opportunity to experience the warmth and hospitality of Israel firsthand. The deep sense of community, the way people genuinely care for one another, and the meaningful connections I built here made Israel feel like much more than just a workplace - for me, it will always be a home away from home."

Starting February, Hagenbruch will serve as the Chief Commercial Officer at Oscar Bravo, a digital marketing company belonging to the Lufthansa Group.
