The new routes are subject to approval by Germany's Federal Ministry of Transport. If approved, Emirates is expected to invest more than €100 million per year in operating the new services.
The planned investment includes operating expenses, employee salaries, airport fees, fuel, and other costs related to operating the flights.
The expansion of operations is expected to strengthen air connectivity between Germany and the UAE and support passenger and business movement between the countries.

The company has gradually resumed its operations around the world, including in the Americas, Europe, Africa, West Asia, the Middle East, the Gulf States, the Far East and Australia.

That same month, it unveiled a new and unique design with the UAE flag adorning the iconic Airbus A380, the world's largest commercial passenger aircraft, the upgraded cabin on this aircraft.
