Starting from 520 dollars one-way: Etihad Airways will operate daily flights to one of the most visited and important cities in the USA

The new Route, connecting between Zayed International Airport (AUH) in Abu Dhabi and Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta (ATL), is the only direct connection from the UAE to Atlanta

Etihad Airways is expanding its operations to the USA.

The decorated airline has announced an increase in flight frequency between Abu Dhabi and Atlanta, following exceptional demand from passengers.

The new Route, expected to operate four times a week starting from July 2, 2025, will be increased to a daily flight starting from November 1, 2025.

The Route, connecting between Zayed International Airport (AUH) in Abu Dhabi and Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta (ATL), is the only direct connection from the UAE to Atlanta.

The expansion of service will provide passengers with maximum flexibility and convenience, alongside seamless connection to a variety of destinations in the USA and Asia.

"The Route became particularly popular – we are responding to demand"

According to Yourian Stelder, Senior Vice President for Network Routes and Alliances at Etihad Airways:

"Since we announced the opening of the Route to Atlanta last November, we have seen great interest from passengers, therefore we decided to increase the frequency to a daily flight in this popular Route. Connecting the world's busiest airport by passenger volume, Hartsfield-Jackson in Atlanta, to our growing global network, enables smooth connectivity to major destinations in South Asia like Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, and Karachi. This also provides additional opportunities for passengers to enjoy our wonderful home, Abu Dhabi, whether as a stopover or for a longer vacation." 

The flights will be operated using the modern Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, including:

 44 seats in business class with flatbeds and deluxe service
327 seats in economy class with enhanced space for passenger comfort
The world's most advanced entertainment systems with a wide selection of movies, series, and music
A meticulous gourmet menu based on luxurious international cuisine

Economy class ticket prices start at 1,925 Emirati Dirhams (approximately 520 dollars)
Business class ticket prices start at 10,010 Emirati Dirhams (approximately 2,700 dollars)

A strategic destination with convenient connectivity

Atlanta, the capital of Georgia, is a major transportation, business, and cultural hub in the USA, blending culinary experiences, professional sports, nightlife, and historical tourism.

Additionally, Atlanta provides easy access to other US cities, offering seamless transitions to other destinations within the country.

The US Preclearance service

A significant advantage of Etihad flights to the USA is the US Customs and Immigration Preclearance service.
Thanks to the completion of customs and immigration procedures already in Abu Dhabi, passengers arrive in the USA as those who have already passed all the checks earlier, enabling them to collect their luggage and leave the airport immediately or easily continue to a connecting flight.

Constant growth worldwide

This move is part of Etihad's expansion program, which includes launching Routes to 13 new destinations worldwide, as published already in PassportNews.
