Release Festival kicks off in Athens. The festival will take place at various venues across the Greek capital from today, June 15, 2026, until mid-July. Many of the major performances are held at the Plateia Nerou complex near the beach, which includes food and drink stands.
The festival, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, will focus on rock performances this time, with a main performance by Nick Cave, but among the performances, you can also choose one by one of the biggest pop stars in the world in recent decades, the Pet Shop Boys.
