The 10th edition of Opera Aperta, the largest international outdoor opera festival in Romania, held annually in Cluj-Napoca, will bring one of the most unusual cultural events to the Transylvanian city this month, with a midnight concert scheduled directly on the aircraft platform of Cluj Avram Iancu International Airport.

However, one of the standout attractions is Sax at Midnight, a late-night performance that organizers say will be the first event of its kind held at an airport in Romania.

Other events will take place at locations including Bánffy Castle, public squares, and immersive art spaces, with concerts timed to sunrise, sunset, and midnight.
