A new luxury terminal designed to let travelers bypass traditional airport processes has officially opened at Miami International Airport.

Operated by PS, the private terminal is located inside the airport's former Pan American Airways headquarters and marks the company's first Florida location and fourth worldwide, following recent expansions in Los Angeles, Atlanta and Dallas-Fort Worth.

The 34,000-square-foot facility allows commercial airline passengers to avoid public terminals through private lounges, dedicated security screening and personalized concierge services.

Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava welcomed the opening, calling it "a new chapter at MIA" for travelers seeking a more convenient and personalized airport experience.

"I'm proud to welcome PS to our community and applaud their dedication to preserving our aviation history while looking ahead to the future," she said.

Historic Pan Am Building Transformed

The project restores and repurposes the iconic 1960s Pan Am building, preserving original architectural features including airline insignias, gold paneling and reflecting pools while introducing modern luxury amenities.

The terminal includes five fully private suites, an upscale shared lounge known as The Salon, a central courtyard, chef-prepared dining and optional spa treatments.

According to Amina Belouizdad Porter, CEO of PS, opening inside the former Pan Am headquarters is symbolic of the company's mission. "Miami was a natural next step for us as the nation's second-busiest airport for international travelers and a key link to Latin America and the Caribbean," she said.

Expanding Luxury Services

Later this year, PS plans to introduce "PS Direct," a door-to-door service that will transport travelers between their aircraft and home or hotel using private chauffeur transfers.

The company says its model combines luxury hospitality with airport operations, coordinating directly with airlines, security agencies and airport authorities to streamline the travel experience.

PS currently operates private terminals at airports in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Dallas-Fort Worth and Miami.
