Air India has today, June 22, 2026, announced a new partnership with Booking.com, one of the leading digital travel platforms on the planet. The fresh deal will enable travelers to easily book accommodation straight from the airline's website and mobile app while also earning loyalty rewards on their stays.
The agreement brings Booking.com's vast accommodation inventory into a dedicated co-branded platform integrated with Air India's digital channels, giving passengers access to millions of properties around the world alongside their flight bookings.
Under the partnership, customers will be able to choose from more than 31 million accommodation listings globally, including hotels, apartments, villas, holiday homes and other unique stays. The platform will also be supported by Booking.com's 24 hour customer service and will be available in 45 languages.
A major focus of the collaboration is the airline's growing loyalty program. Members of Air India's Maharaja Club will earn five Maharaja Points for every INR 100 spent on accommodation booked through the new platform. The points can later be redeemed for flights, cabin upgrades and other travel benefits.
To mark the launch, customers will also have access to discounts of up to 15% on participating properties for bookings made between June 22 and July 21, 2026.
Air India says the move is part of a broader effort to create a more complete travel ecosystem for passengers. Rather than booking flights and hotels separately, travelers can now arrange multiple parts of their journey through a single platform.
Abhijit Menon, Divisional Vice President and Head of Revenue Management at Air India, said the partnership combines the airline's expanding international network with Booking.com's extensive accommodation portfolio, giving customers more convenience, choice and value throughout their trips.
Booking.com also highlighted the growing demand for integrated travel experiences. Laura Houldsworth, Managing Director and Vice President for Asia Pacific at Booking.com, said travelers increasingly prefer digital platforms that allow them to organize flights and accommodation in one place.
The partnership reflects a wider trend across the travel industry as airlines seek to diversify revenue streams and strengthen customer loyalty by offering additional travel services beyond air tickets.
As a member of the Star Alliance network, Air India has been actively expanding the benefits available to Maharaja Club members. Over the past two years, the airline has added more than 100 brand partnerships across multiple sectors, creating additional opportunities for members to earn and redeem points.
For travelers, the new agreement means they can now combine flights and accommodation bookings within the Air India ecosystem while earning rewards that can be used on future journeys.
