Israel market gains momentum
The luxury resort and casino City of Dreams Mediterranean held a special event last night (Wednesday) at the luxury The George in Tel Aviv, attended by senior figures from Israel’s tourism industry, media representatives, travel agents, business partners, and content creators.
Senior members of the resort’s management flew in especially from Cyprus for the event, led by Grant Johnson, Property General Manager of City of Dreams Mediterranean, and John Sinke, Vice President - Resort sales and Marketing, who met with leaders of Israel’s tourism sector and presented the resort’s recent growth and future plans.
Also taking part were Rina Kamani, CEO of the Association of Travel Agencies and Consultants in Israel, and Louisa Varaclas, director of Cyprus Tourism Office in Israel, who was praised by speakers for her work and achievements in supporting the tourism growth Cyprus has seen from the Israeli market.
On the Israeli side, the event was led by Anthony Borantin, CEO of Hosborn, which represents City of Dreams Mediterranean in Israel. Borantin has been working to promote the resort in the Israeli market and strengthen cooperation with travel agents, tourism companies, the media, and business partners, and received praise from the senior executives of the luxury Limassol resort.
During the evening that was moderated by Amit Cotler, senior editor at PassportNews and Channel 13 presenter, Grant Johnson and John Sinke emphasized the growing partnership with Israel and said the Israeli market has become one of the resort’s most important source markets. According to them, the close relationship with travel agents, the media, and business partners in Israel continues to grow stronger year after year, and they see significant potential for continued growth.

Participants discussed new industry trends, the importance of regional cooperation, and the development of innovative hospitality experiences.
Resort executives also presented the latest developments at City of Dreams Mediterranean, which in recent years has become one of the most sought-after luxury resorts among Israeli travelers. Located in Limassol, the resort combines a luxury hotel, one of Europe’s largest casinos, chef-led restaurants, entertainment complexes, a spa, and leisure facilities at an international standard.
To conclude the evening, Johnson and Sinke thanked their partners in Israel and stressed their commitment to further deepening cooperation with the local tourism industry, with the aim of further strengthening City of Dreams Mediterranean’s position as one of the preferred luxury vacation destinations for Israeli travelers.
