Since the beginning of the war, the trend has been clear. Israeli tourists are seeking vacations in countries that formally confront Israel less and prefer those that have declared their support for Israel. And us? We responded with great love.
Thus, many countries in Western Europe have been replaced by tourist destinations that some of us were less familiar with before the war: Albania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Montenegro, and even Georgia, where Israeli tourism increased during the war.
Alongside these, add the prominent destinations in Eastern and Central Europe – Hungary and Romania, again – two countries that stood firmly alongside Israel during the war, although Israeli tourism to them produced impressive numbers even before the war.
