There is no other way to describe the fortune of the passengers of flight 4819 that overturned upon landing in Toronto except as a real miracle.
Out of about 80 passengers on the plane, 21 were injured and hospitalized, and this evening (according to Israel time, 18.2.25) Delta Air Lines updates that only two remain for continued treatment in the city's hospitals. It should be noted that no one was killed in the incident.
According to the company's statement, Delta's emergency teams were sent to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), including representatives of the "Delta Care Team" skilled in providing support to passengers, employees, and their families. Additionally, senior members from Endeavor Air are on-site providing assistance, in full cooperation with investigation teams.
Delta and Delta Connection flight operations at Pearson Airport have resumed, with two of the company's flights operating with larger aircraft to increase passenger capacity. Additionally, Delta will allow all passengers to make changes to their flights as desired until 20.2.25.
