The new program, "Passport," will air on July 24 and will provide viewers with all the latest news, updates, and hot stories from the world of tourism and aviation every week, from the new and most sought-after destinations in the world, through all the innovations in airlines in Israel and around the world, to hotels, cruises, culinary, lifestyle, exclusive recommendations, and magazine articles from Israel and around the world, with the participation of the best bloggers and influencers, including: Gal Zota, Ifat Chen Cohen, Erez Dagan, and lifestyle and luxury influencer Ira Simonov.
The program will be hosted by Amit Cotler, editor of PassportNews and presenter on Channel 13, who is considered one of the leading tourism and aviation writers in Israel.
Each program will incorporate thoughtful magazine articles from destinations particularly beloved by Israelis, including Greece, Cyprus, Italy and other destinations throughout Europe and the world, alongside interviews with senior figures in the tourism, aviation, hotel and cruise industries, vacation recommendations, hotel reviews, attractions, restaurants, cruises and exposure of new trends in the world of travel.
The program's goal is to become the central address for anyone planning their next vacation, not only to present a new destination, but to provide inspiration, knowledge, and tools that will help viewers choose the vacation that best suits them.
The launch of the program is another step in the expansion of the Passport Group, which began its journey in the digital world and has become one of the leading media groups in Israel in the fields of tourism, aviation, cruises and lifestyle. Today, the group operates four leading content sites, printed magazines, extensive activity on social networks and video platforms, and reaches hundreds of thousands of Israelis every day.
Adi Azulai, Chairman of Passport Group: "We are proud to take another step in the development of Passport Group and bring the world of tourism to the television screen. Our goal is to continue to provide the Israeli public with quality, reliable and inspiring content on every possible platform, in digital, in print and now also on television. The move positions Passport Group as one of the few media groups in Israel that operates simultaneously on news and content websites, printed magazines, social networks, video and television, and allows us to reach a wider audience than ever before."
Efrat Doron, CEO of Passport Group: "The launch of the television program is part of a strategic move that expands Passport from a tourism group to a multi-platform media group that operates in a variety of sections and content areas, alongside tourism and aviation also in lifestyle, culinary, transportation, finance and consumerism, with the understanding that each audience has a different way of consuming and content that speaks to them, in order to reach different target audiences and build a broader, more diverse, modern and relevant media group, and I am happy and proud to be part of this move."
Amit Cotler: "I am excited and proud to take part in the new journey of the Passport Group and its natural evolution into the leading tourism media in Israel, a place that has also been my home for the past three years. After decades of magazines, websites, apps and digital, the time has come for the television screen. For me, this is also an exciting closing of a circle, as the home chosen for the program is my second home in the last decade - Reshet 13. Thank you to Adi Azoulay and Efrat Doron, the group's CEO, for the trust and for making this dream a reality. We will see you soon on screen and I promise to make you want to pack a suitcase and go on vacation."
The program will air weekly on Channel 13 and will also be available on the PassportNews websites, Channel 13's digital platforms, and all of the Passport Group's social networks.
