Lufthansa Group has announced the appointment of Daphna Ben Moshe as its new Country Manager in Israel.
With over 25 years of experience in the aviation industry and an in-depth understanding of the Israeli market, Ben Moshe is set to lead the company’s activities in Israel and further strengthen its ties with business partners.
Ben Moshe, 54, Israeli born, previously managed Austrian Airlines' operations in Israel (2009–2011) until its merger with Lufthansa Group. Following the merger, she took on various key sales roles within the group, focusing on growth strategies and strengthening strategic partnerships.
Since 2018, Ben Moshe has held global business development roles, overseeing the Israeli market and other Eastern European regions. She also represents Help Alliance on behalf of the Lufthansa Group, promoting volunteer initiatives within the Israeli community.
Ben Moshe holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in marketing. Her strategic vision and extensive professional expertise will play a crucial role in further establishing Lufthansa Group’s presence in Israel. Upon assuming her new role, she expressed her gratitude to the Lufthansa management for their trust and shared her enthusiasm for leading the group's activities during this significant and dynamic period.
Dafna replaces Markus Hagenbruch, who served as GM of the Lufthansa Group in Israel for the past three years. Hagenbruch is concluding his role and will start serving as the CCO of Oscar Bravo, the internal digital marketing agency of the Lufthansa Group.
"Together with the dedicated and professional team of the Lufthansa Group in Israel, we will work to strengthen collaborations with business partners, expand the scope of activities in Israel, and improve customer experience while maintaining high standards of service, quality, and innovation", said Ben Moshe upon taking office.
Another new appointment in the industry, also coming from Germany, is Ofer Kish, who was appointed Director of the German Tourism Office in Israel. Kish will replace Goldi Mueller, who successfully managed the Israeli market for over 30 years.
Kish brings over 30 years of experience in the aviation and tourism industry, both in Israel and abroad. Additionally, Kish is known in the Israeli market as someone who managed the Lufthansa Group in Israel about three years ago.
