Air France has expanded its premium ground experience in the UK with the opening of a new lounge at London Heathrow Airport, marking the first time the French carrier has introduced its own branded lounge at one of its key European hubs.

The new facility officially opened on July 7, 2026, in Terminal 4, which serves as a strategic base for the airline's medium-haul network. The lounge is available daily from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. for eligible La Première, Business Class (excluding Business Light), Flying Blue Elite Plus, KLM and SkyTeam passengers.

Covering more than 750 square metres with seating for nearly 150 guests, the lounge has been designed by Air France in partnership with MARKS Brandimage. Large windows overlooking the runways, contemporary French furnishings and the airline's signature blue, white and red colour palette create a space intended for both relaxation and productivity.

Food is a central feature of the new lounge. Guests can enjoy a rotating menu of French cuisine throughout the day, including dishes such as beef bourguignon, alongside vegetarian options. A staffed bar serves champagne, French wines and spirits, while Air France says it has prioritized seasonal and locally sourced ingredients as part of its sustainability efforts.

Another highlight is a dedicated Clarins wellness area, which opens on July 13. Eligible guests can receive one complimentary beauty treatment from a choice of three services, including anti-jet lag and detox therapies. La Première customers have access to an exclusive relaxation treatment designed specifically for the airline's highest cabin class.

The lounge also includes a private area for La Première passengers, featuring five premium seats, personalized dining service and direct runway views. Flying Blue Ultimate members benefit from their own quiet space designed for additional privacy.

Additional amenities include a relaxation zone, workspaces, free Wi-Fi, charging points, self-service eligibility kiosks and access to digital newspapers and magazines through the Air France Press app.

The opening comes as Air France operates up to six daily flights between London Heathrow and Paris Charles de Gaulle, providing onward connections across its international network.
