There are quite a few luxury ships in the world, and there are quite a few luxury suites, but from the moment we entered the Legend of the Seas suites, it was clear that this was in a completely different league. This is no longer just another large room with a balcony, but a complete hospitality experience that feels like a luxury boutique hotel built in the middle of the sea.
We were among the first in the world to visit the ship during the launch cruise that departed from Malaga to Rome. From the very first moment, it was clear that Royal Caribbean continues to push the boundaries of the cruise world. Alongside a huge water park, themed neighborhoods, dozens of restaurants, world-class shows and infinity pools, it was the suites that surprised us the most.

The first of these is the Ultimate Family Townhouse, one of the most impressive and innovative family suites ever built on a cruise ship. Upon entering, you feel as if you are entering a world of children, but one that does not compromise on luxury for a moment.
In the center of the space rises a real slide that connects the two floors of the suite. Instead of going down the stairs, the kids simply slide down over and over again, and within minutes we realized that this was probably the most popular private attraction on the ship.

It has state-of-the-art game consoles, giant screens, video games, dozens of board games, and sitting areas where even parents find themselves staying much longer than they planned. Nearby is also a private movie room with plush couches and a popcorn machine that gives every evening the feeling of a VIP screening.
The children's room itself is also very far from a standard room. The beds are branded and designed, the colors are happy and lively, the bathroom includes a bathtub specially adapted for children, and even the lighting, storage solutions and play areas were designed with every detail in mind. The feeling is that during the entire stay there is really no need to leave the suite. The children are busy playing, the parents enjoy the peace and space, and everyone finds their own corner. It is no coincidence that this is considered one of the most innovative family suites in the cruise world.

For example, on a seven-night cruise departing August 22, 2027 from Barcelona to the Western Mediterranean, the price for a couple and two children in the Ultimate Family Townhouse Suite is approximately $73,930.
But the package includes much more than just the accommodation itself. Suite guests enjoy a beverage package, internet, access to the ship's luxury restaurants, unlimited access to the Coastal Kitchen restaurant, which is exclusively for suite guests, and also the Royal Genie service, a personal butler who accompanies guests throughout the cruise, takes care of restaurant reservations, the best seats at shows, handles special requests, and makes the vacation a personal and meticulous experience down to the last detail.

If the Family Suite fulfills the children's dream, the Royal Loft Suite is designed to fulfill the adults' dream.
As soon as the door opens, the eyes are immediately drawn to the vast space that opens to double height, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows that bring the sea into every corner of the house. In the center of the living room stands an impressive grand piano that adds to the space the feeling of a luxurious penthouse, the kind you wouldn't expect to find on board a cruise ship.
The entire design is meticulously crafted, incorporating natural wood, marble, soft-toned fabrics, recessed lighting, and modern art. The feel is much more like a presidential suite in a luxury hotel than a ship's cabin. Every detail has been designed to maximize space, natural light, and endless views.

In its center stands a jacuzzi facing the open sea, alongside spacious seating areas, sun beds, a large dining table and entertainment areas that allow you to spend entire hours without wanting to go back inside. Sitting there at sunset, as the ship crosses the Mediterranean, is an experience that is very difficult to describe in words.
The bedrooms also continue the same luxurious line, with large double beds, spacious closets and luxurious bathrooms featuring large bathtubs and spacious showers. Every detail here is designed to make guests feel like they are in a luxury apartment floating on the water.

Here, too, it's an experience that comes with a full-service package. For example, on a seven-night cruise departing on August 22, 2027 from Barcelona to the Western Mediterranean, the price for a Royal Loft Suite is approximately $73,546.

Whether it's a family looking to make their vacation a dream for the kids, or a couple or group of friends looking for a truly luxurious experience at sea, the ship's suites redefine what a premium vacation is. And if we thought we'd seen it all in the world of cruises, Legend of the Seas proves that you can always surprise again.
