An investigation is underway after a man was fatally shot in Sydney's north west on Wednesday morning, July 15, 20206, New South Wales Police said.
Emergency services were called to North Rocks Road in Carlingford shortly after 7 a.m. local time following reports of a shooting.
Officers from The Hills Police Area Command arrived at the scene and discovered a man, believed to be in his 30s, suffering from significant injuries inside a vehicle.
Despite the efforts of emergency responders, the man could not be revived and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said the victim has not yet been formally identified.
