The Trojan Horse of the Odyssey. Credit: angelo palazzo Ahead of the release of Christopher Nolan's new film, "The Odyssey," a giant statue of the Trojan Horse was erected in Hollywood. As expected, it became the most talked-about attraction in the area in recent days.
The 39-foot (12-meter) replica was used during the filming of the film itself. The statue is placed outside the AMC Theatres complex at Universal CityWalk Hollywood in Los Angeles, as part of the film's launch campaign ahead of its theatrical and IMAX screenings.
The performance attracts many visitors, tourists and film buffs, who come to take pictures alongside one of the most famous symbols from Greek mythology.
The installation of the Trojan Horse is part of the promotional campaign for the film, which is considered one of the biggest film productions of the year, and illustrates the extent of the investment in advertising ahead of its release. The installation is temporary, with no end date at this time.
