Security Situation Impact: ITA Airways Cancels Flights from Tel Aviv

ITA Airways and Austrian Airlines cancel flights amid security developments. Other Lufthansa Group flights remain scheduled for now

Flight Cancellations Amid Tensions. Italian airline ITA Airways canceled its two scheduled flights from Ben Gurion Airport to Rome today (Saturday) due to the security situation: AZ809, which was set to depart at 05:15, and AZ807, planned for 14:30.<\/p>

The night flight of Austrian Airlines from Tel Aviv was also canceled.<\/p>

As of now, additional flights from the Lufthansa Group to and from Israel are still listed as scheduled.<\/p>

Lufthansa and Eurowings flights have departed from Germany to Israel.<\/p>


The Lufthansa Group is expected to make a decision on the continuation of routes to Israel based on the security situation. Until the announcement is made, no further changes have been reported in the flight schedule.<\/p>
