Security Concerns Lead to ITA Airways and Austrian Cancelling Flights

Flight cancellations due to security disruptions have impacted ITA Airways and Austrian flights. Other flights remain on schedule despite concerns

Italian airline cancels flights. ITA Airways canceled its two scheduled flights from Ben Gurion Airport to Rome today (Saturday) due to security concerns. Flight AZ809, set for 05:15, and AZ807, planned for 14:30, were affected.

The night flight of Austrian Airlines from Tel Aviv has also been canceled.

As of now, other flights of the Lufthansa Group to and from Israel are still scheduled.

Lufthansa and Eurowings flights have departed from Germany to Israel.

The Lufthansa Group is expected to make a decision about continuing its routes to Israel based on security conditions. Until a decision is announced, no additional changes to the flight schedule have been reported.
