Delta Air Lines and Starbucks are bringing back a benefit that was once highly sought after among their loyalty club members.

Beginning August 5, 2026, eligible members who link their Delta SkyMiles and Starbucks Rewards accounts will be able to earn one mile for every dollar spent on purchases at participating Starbucks coffee shops.

To be eligible for the miles, members must have linked accounts with both clubs and have flown at least one qualifying Delta flight in the past 12 months. However, the company is giving members who haven’t flown recently a grace period until October 5, 2026, so they can enjoy the benefit during the transition period.

Registration is simple: join both customer clubs, link the accounts, and from August 5th start accumulating miles on eligible purchases at Starbucks, on the way to your next flight
