Photo: Ritz-Carlton BangkokOne of the first and most intriguing openings of the year is the Ritz-Carlton in the Thai capital. The hotel is located in one of the city's luxury neighborhoods, adjacent to Lumpini Park, promising stunning views. The hotel itself features luxurious rooms equipped with luxury products and an outdoor pool overlooking the park as well.

Photo: SIX SENSES LONDONOne of the most talked-about projects of the luxury chain, which will soon open a hotel in Tel Aviv as well, is expected to be the one opening this year in the The Whiteley department store in London, just a few meters from Hyde Park. The iconic building has been restored, and the hotel will include 109 rooms and suites alongside 14 luxury apartments, combining modern community life with a unique historical scent. The hotel will also feature several chef restaurants, a spa with a 20-meter indoor swimming pool, a 325 square meter fitness area, and a unique urban member and work club.

However, this year the capital of the beautiful temple state opened the Shangri-La hotel as part of an innovative business complex in the city, which includes three luxury towers. The new hotel rises to a height of 228 meters and features 303 rooms and suites with stunning panoramic views. The interior design combines Asian heritage with Art Deco, emphasizing warm wood colors, natural stones, and natural daylight.

Photo: ROSEWOOD AMSTERDAMThe newest hotel of the luxury chain Rosewood is expected to open this year in a 360-year-old building in Amsterdam's canal district. The building, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site, has been renovated over ten years and will include 134 rooms and suites, including five unique suites with canal views. The complex will also house three restaurants and bars and a spa area named Asaya featuring an indoor swimming pool.
Opening date: June 1, 2025.
Photo: THE ILISIAN ATHENSOne of the most intriguing projects of the year will open towards its end in the Greek capital, where, in the place of the city's legendary Hilton hotel that operated for over 50 years, the Ilisian The by Waldorf Astoria and Conrad will be established. The hotel on Vasilissis Sofias Avenue in Athens is currently undergoing renovations and upgrades at a total cost of 340 million euros, and will include 278 rooms, suites, and dozens of residential apartments, including a mega-suite of 400 square meters. Unusually, Greece's Prime Minister attended the hotel's announcement event, declaring that the new hotel contributes to his vision to transform Athens and the whole of Greece into a year-round tourist destination.

It will be located in the heart of Saudi Arabia's business district, just a 20-minute drive from the city's international airport. The hotel will have 210 luxury rooms and suites, 7 restaurants, a shopping center, and a conference center. The design includes the spaces familiar to the chain's customers, such as the AWAY Spa, Wet Deck, Living Room, and the FIT fitness center. The hotel will meet Saudi Arabia's "2030 Standard" for improving quality of life.
