The tourism fair ITB Berlin 2025, which opened today, is the largest of its kind in the world, bringing together the entire global aviation and tourism industry under one roof.
Alongside the country booths, including the Israel booth, the airline Emirates presented a number of technological innovations aimed at improving passenger experience and leading the aviation industry into a digital and environmentally friendly future.
In the official announcement for the opening of the tourism fair, the company stated: "We are proud to showcase our technological innovations at the ITB Berlin exhibition, which demonstrate our commitment to leading the aviation industry towards a digital and environmentally friendly future."
The innovations presented at the fair:
A. Upgrade of the Business Class - New seats with ergonomic design, offering increased comfort, privacy, and direct access to the aisle.
B. Improved Wi-Fi Service: A faster wireless internet service was introduced, allowing passengers to stay connected during the flight.
C. Updated Culinary Menus: New dishes inspired by international cuisines were introduced, with an emphasis on using fresh and quality ingredients.
D. Advanced Entertainment System: A new entertainment system was introduced with larger screens, high resolution, and a wider selection of content.
E. Environmental Initiatives: Emirates highlighted its commitment to the environment by showcasing plans to reduce carbon emissions and use sustainable fuels.
