Air India has advised passengers traveling between August 10 and August 20  to arrive at airports well ahead of their scheduled departure times due to enhanced security measures.

The airline said the additional precautions may result in longer processing times for passengers going through security checks and other airport formalities. Travelers are therefore being encouraged to allow extra time to complete the required procedures before their flights.

The airline has not indicated that the advisory, issued today, August 10, involves any flight cancellations or schedule changes.

Instead, the warning concerns enhanced security measures at airports , which could increase the time needed for screening and other formalities.
