Marriott International is expanding its presence in the South Pacific with the debut of Series by Marriott in New Caledonia, adding three resorts in partnership with Société Hôtelière de Nouméa (SHN).

The move marks a new chapter in the companies’ more than 30-year relationship and brings three Le Domaine du Pacifique properties in Nouméa, the Isle of Pines and Deva into Marriott’s global portfolio.

Series by Marriott is designed to combine the character of regional destinations with Marriott’s international hospitality standards. The three New Caledonian resorts will retain their individual identities while gaining access to the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program.

Meanwhile, Le Domaine Nouméa, Series by Marriott is located on Anse Vata Bay in front of New Caledonia's UNESCO-listed lagoon. The resort features 207 guestrooms, including 34 suites, along with direct beach access, a pool, fitness center, spa and seven meeting rooms.

The Nouméa property also offers several dining options and is located close to Anse Vata Beach and the Grand Casino.

Marriott Bonvoy Benefits

All three properties will participate in Marriott Bonvoy, allowing members to earn points during stays and access benefits through the loyalty program.

The expansion strengthens Marriott’s presence in New Caledonia while giving travelers visiting the French Pacific territory another internationally recognized hotel option.

SHN President Brieuc Frogier said the partnership would allow the properties to maintain their individual identities while benefiting from Marriott’s global expertise and reach.

The three resorts combine New Caledonia’s beaches, lagoons, forests and cultural heritage with Marriott’s international hospitality platform, potentially increasing the destination’s appeal to travelers seeking a South Pacific getaway.
