Genesis has unveiled the GENESIS GV90, its new flagship electric vehicle, which comes in two versions: GV90 and GV90 Neolun.

The new model is based on the eMP platform dedicated to the brand's flagship models and features a combination of large dimensions, performance, and advanced technologies.

The GV90 is equipped with a 123.5 kWh battery and delivers 657 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. According to the company, the seven-seat version offers an estimated range of about 499 km, with a 10% to 80% charge using a 350 kW charger taking 22 minutes.

The most notable innovation is found in the GV90 Neolun version, which is equipped with the Neolun Arch Gate system. These are side doors with a hidden central beam, which allow the front and rear doors to open independently and create an especially wide opening for entry and exit.

Despite the unique structure, Genesis emphasizes that the model was designed with a reinforced structure that includes steel beams and additional reinforcements. The safety system includes 12 airbags, including a ceiling airbag, which the company describes as the first of its kind in the world.

The cabin also received a flagship treatment, with a central OLED screen that opens, a 25-inch head-up display, Pleos Connect system, AI assistant, Bang & Olufsen audio system with 25 speakers, ambient lighting and seats with a massage function.

The Neolun version also offers a four-seat configuration option, with a wooden floor, heating inspired by the Korean "ondol", a refrigerator, tables and leather seats.
