In accordance with the decision of the National Crisis Management Center of Moldova, entry to the airport terminal will be restricted from Thursday, August 27 at 00:00 until Monday, August 31 at 23:59.
During this period, only passengers holding a valid flight ticket and travel documents, as well as authorized staff and employees, will be allowed to enter the terminal.
Additionally, passengers will only be able to enter the terminal three hours before their scheduled departure time. Authorities are asking passengers to take this restriction into account when planning their arrival at the airport.
The restrictions are temporary and have been established as part of the special security measures for this period. Their purpose is to maintain an orderly flow of passengers in the terminal and to enable efficient screening and boarding procedures.
Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, is a major route for those wishing to fly during the month of Elul to the tomb of Rebbe Nachman in Uman. Thousands of passengers from Israel are expected to pass through the international airport soon.
