Wizz Air is launching a new version of one of its most recognizable marketing contests in Poland: a mystery flight in which passengers board the plane without knowing where they are flying.
The flight will depart from Warsaw on September 25, 2026, and will be attended by 25 winners, each of whom can bring one companion. A total of 50 passengers will board the plane, who will know the departure time but not the destination.
It is important to note that this is a competition launched in Poland and intended for the local market; the official announcement did not specify a Polish citizenship requirement, but participation is subject to the campaign's regulations and eligibility conditions, and to Polish travelers. The company will keep the destination a secret until landing.
Just One Hint Before the Flight
Even in the days before departure, the destination will not be revealed.
Wizz Air will provide winners with one practical piece of information: the expected weather at the destination, so they know how to pack.
Beyond that, travel details will remain confidential. According to the company, the winners are expected to participate in a four-day experience that will include activities, local food, culture and other surprises.
How to Participate?
Registration for the competition began yesterday, August 27th, and will continue until September 6th, 2026.
Participants are required to post a photo or video on Instagram that shows their adventurous side, tag @wizzair and use the hashtag #LetsGetLostPoland.
The profile must be public, and participants must be 18 years of age or older and meet the full eligibility requirements of the competition.
Please note: This campaign takes place in Poland, and eligibility is determined according to the local campaign terms.
The winners will receive a direct message via Instagram and each of them can bring one companion with them.
What Could the Secret Destination Be?
It's a well-kept secret, but the Wizz Air route map from Warsaw provides quite a few options.
The company currently operates 67 routes from the city to 26 countries.
Among the destinations that Wizz Air cites as theoretical possibilities are Madeira, Tenerife, Malaga, Mallorca, Marrakech, Iceland, Nice, Rome and the Greek islands.
However, the company emphasizes that the plane may also land in a completely different location.
For the First Time in Poland
The #LetsGetLost concept has previously been launched by Wizz Air in other markets, but this is the first time it has come to Poland.
For the company, this is also a marketing move in a significant market: Wizz Air is one of the largest airlines in Poland, and from Warsaw alone it offers dozens of routes throughout Europe and beyond.
The idea behind the competition is simple: instead of the traveler choosing the destination first and the experience later, here the order is reversed. Travelers first commit to the trip and only at the end discover where they have arrived.
In an era where almost every step of a vacation is predetermined, from the flight to the hotel, the restaurant, and the seat on the plane, Wizz Air is building an experience here that is based precisely on uncertainty.
On September 25, 50 passengers will take off from Warsaw without knowing where they will land and only when the plane touches down will they receive the answer.
