Air France announced that it will launch direct flights between Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) and King Khalid International Airport (RUH) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The flights will operate on the airline's Airbus A350-900 aircraft, with a capacity of 324 seats in 3 classes: 34 in business class, 24 in premium economy, and 266 in economy class.
The route will begin with 3 weekly flights starting May 19, 2025, and will increase to 5 weekly flights starting June 2, 2025.
The French flag carrier noted that with the inauguration of the new route, all three airlines of the Air France-KLM group, Air France, KLM, and Transavia, will offer connections to Saudi Arabia.
Transavia France flies from Paris Orly Airport (ORY) and Lyon Saint Exupéry Airport (LYS) to King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) in Jeddah since December 2024, while KLM flies from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) to Riyadh International Airport and King Fahd International Airport (DAM).
Air France flights, which will last about 6 hours between Paris and Riyadh, will operate on the following schedule:
Flight AF684 departs from Paris at 23:20 local time, arriving in Riyadh at 06:25 local time the next day.
Flight AF685 departs from Riyadh at 08:40 local time and arrives in Paris at 14:20 local time.
