The cabin features a central axis stretching throughout the space, dividing it into four personal zones, creating a layout unlike any other in the automotive industry.
The driver's position is designed to be enveloping and in a low seating position, aiming to deliver a driving sensation associated with GT cars. The design uses shades and textures inspired by travertine stone and handcrafted fabrics, alongside brass-like finishes and the Jaguar emblem appearing along the design lines on the doors.

The multimedia system is part of the interior architecture, with digital interfaces intended to allow access to various functions as needed.
The dashboard center houses the ClearSight Rear View screen, serving as a digital rearview mirror located at a similar height to the side mirrors. Alongside the technology, Jaguar emphasizes the use of hidden storage compartments and elements that reveal themselves only when necessary.

Thomas Holden, Chief Interior Designer at Jaguar, commented: "Our holistic design philosophy translates the vehicle’s exterior presence into a distinctive interior architecture. In contrast to the horizontal interior design norm, we emphasize its dramatic longitudinal nature through the central spine, an architectural statement that creates four individual spaces. With authentic materials, technology on demand and reductive flowing surfaces, Type 01 presents unmistakable drama and theatre that will define the modern luxury automotive interior of the future."
The Type 01 prototype was showcased at the Pebble Beach competition with a unique design wrap. The full model unveiling is scheduled for October 6, 2026, in New York.
