The global tourism trends report for 2025 by American Express was published yesterday (13.3.25) and includes several key and interesting trends expected to shape tourism in the coming year.
The report highlights two destinations that are expected to be particularly popular among travelers: Britany in France, a region offering unique culture, beaches, and impressive walking trails, and the Greek islandParos which, according to the research, is characterized by quiet beaches, vibrant culture, and new tourism infrastructures, including the expansion of the airport and new hotels.

A. Sports Travel: Planning trips around sports events, with the desire to experience live sports games.
B. Long Travels: Unique and meaningful experiences, such as cruises to remote areas or safari journeys.
C. Solo Travel: The report notes an increase in the number of travelers choosing to travel alone, aiming to focus on themselves and experience personal experiences.
D. "Bleisure" Travel (Business and Leisure): Blurring of business and leisure travel, where employees combine both and extend their stay for personal purposes.
