Etihad Airways has launched Etihad Wellbeing, a new program that brings together a wide range of products and service improvements aimed at making passengers' journeys more comfortable and restful.
Pre-Boarding and Sky-High Pampering
The program covers the full travel experience, from pre-departure services at Zayed International Airport to amenities, dining, sleep products and entertainment onboard.

The airline said the program is intended to help passengers maintain healthy habits while traveling and create a more restorative experience in the air.
“Etihad Wellbeing is our commitment to making the flying experience as restorative and restful as possible,” said Jyotsna Chowdhry, Etihad Airways’ Vice President of Product and Hospitality. She said the airline is introducing practical improvements across its cabins and services to help guests rest better and arrive feeling refreshed.
At Zayed International Airport, Etihad offers dedicated quiet spaces in its lounges, while the Be Relax by Etihad Spa provides skincare, massage and hair services for guests looking to unwind before departure.
Once onboard, the program includes a broader selection of food and drinks designed to support different dietary needs. Passengers can choose nutritious and protein-rich dishes, more plant-forward meals and a range of specialist options, including lactose-free, low-sodium, low-fat, low-salt and gluten-free meals.

Guests traveling in First and The Residence can use natural cotton bedding, memory foam mattresses and premium sleepwear designed to provide a more comfortable sleeping environment.
Business Class passengers now have access to Etihad’s Destination Collection amenity kits, which feature products from Korean skincare brand LANEIGE. The kits include the brand’s Water Sleeping Mask, Lip Sleeping Mask and hand cream. Etihad said it is the first airline to partner with LANEIGE and is currently the only airline offering the brand’s products onboard.
First Class guests receive ESPA skincare products, along with facial sheet masks and under eye masks intended to help refresh the skin during a flight.
Etihad is also introducing a new signature fragrance created exclusively for the airline. The scent will be used onboard and in Etihad lounges to create a consistent and calming atmosphere for passengers.
Quiet Cabin for Meditation, Stretching and Good Sleep
The airline’s Quiet Cabin initiative is another part of the program. It reduces non-essential announcements to create a calmer environment, while inflight entertainment offers meditation, stretching and sleep content. On many aircraft, cabin lighting is also designed to support rest and help reduce the effects of jet lag on long-haul journeys.
Etihad said Etihad Wellbeing is not a one-time product launch but an ongoing program. The airline plans to continue adding new products and experiences as it looks for further ways to improve comfort and wellbeing throughout the journey.
The program reflects a wider shift in premium air travel, with airlines increasingly focusing not only on seats and service but also on sleep, nutrition, relaxation and the overall physical experience of long-distance travel.
