The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses condemnation of "the incident that took place in the market in the city of Magdeburg, Germany, where a vehicle sped into a crowd, causing deaths and injuries to several people."

As recalled, in the attack that occurred last night (Friday), at least 2 people were killed and 68 injured when a 50-year-old Saudi man, who immigrated to Germany in 2006, drove into the crowd at the local Christmas market in Magdeburg, located about two hours from Berlin.

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs adds and states: "The Kingdom expresses solidarity with the German people and the families of the victims. The Kingdom reaffirms its stance against violence and expresses its sincere condolences to the families of the victims, the government, and the people of the Federal Republic of Germany, wishing a swift recovery to the injured."
