The service will allow passengers to send messages, share photos and use a variety of online services. The connection will be available free of charge to Miles & More members and Travel ID users, in all flight classes.
The first SWISS aircraft to be equipped with the technology is an Airbus A320neo, registered under the registration number HB-JDM and named “Iseltwald”. The aircraft will enter regular service today, September 28, 2026, when its first flight will be operated on route LX1852 from Zurich to Thessaloniki.

The system will then be gradually installed on additional aircraft, with the company expecting the service to be available across SWISS' entire fleet by the end of 2029.
In addition to browsing, the company has set a number of rules for using the service during the flight. Passengers who watch videos or listen to audio content are asked to use headphones and continue to listen to the cabin crew's announcements. Voice and video calls will not be allowed during the flight, as will live content broadcasts.
The company notes that passengers who share photos, videos or other content from the plane are asked to respect the privacy of other passengers and crew members.
SWISS is the national airline of Switzerland and a member of the Lufthansa Group and the Star Alliance. The company operates direct flights from Zurich and Geneva to destinations in Europe and around the world.

Companies that have already integrated the technology into their aircraft include Qatar Airways, Air France, United Airlines, SAS, and Korean Air, along with others testing or gradually implementing the service across their fleets.
