Hilton is getting ready to bring its Tempo by Hilton brand to Germany for the first time with a new 199-room hotel planned for the MUNICH ARENA campus near Munich Airport.
The Tempo by Hilton Munich Airport Arena is scheduled to open in 2029, alongside the new arena, which is being developed as a major live entertainment venue in Munich.

The location will also put guests close to Munich Airport, one of Germany's busiest international airports.
The signing marks the German debut of Tempo by Hilton. The brand currently has 86 properties either operating or in its development pipeline, with other European projects planned in cities including Belfast, Lisbon and Reykjavik.
The hotel is designed around the needs of travelers looking to stay active and unwind during their trip. Guest rooms will include a dedicated "Get Ready Zone" with a vanity mirror, desk and open wardrobe.

The hotel is being developed as part of the MUNICH ARENA entertainment campus, which is intended to become a major concert destination. The idea is to combine the arena, hotel and other elements of the campus so visitors can stay on site before and after events.
The property has been signed through a management agreement with Allresto Munich Airport Hotel and Restaurants GmbH, a subsidiary of Munich Airport. Allresto has leased the hotel from SWMUNICH Accomodation GmbH, part of the MUNICH ARENA group.
Hilton said the project will expand its presence in Germany, a market where the company has operated for more than 50 years.
Munich Airport handled more than 43 million passengers in 2025, making its surrounding area an important location for both leisure and business travelers.
Guests staying at the new hotel will also be able to participate in Hilton Honors, Hilton's loyalty program, with members receiving benefits such as member rates, free standard Wi-Fi and access to digital check-in and Digital Key through the Hilton Honors app.
