The Brown Hotels chain from Israel Canada is entering the Italian hotel market for the first time, with the completion of the deal to acquire the company that operates the Amedia Milan hotel in Milan, through ICH Europe.
The entry into Italy joins the group's international expansion, most recently in Germany, where the chain added six hotels in major cities to its portfolio, including the Excelsior Hotel in Berlin and five additional hotels in Munich, Hamburg and Leipzig.
The four-star Amedia Milan Hotel features 148 rooms, a restaurant, a bar and conference facilities, along with other services and facilities. The hotel is located near the San Siro football stadium, with access to Milan's business centers, convention and exhibition centers and transport routes leading to the airport.
