MSC Cruises has unveiled the entertainment lineup for its newest World Class ship, MSC World Asia, ahead of its first Mediterranean sailing on December 4, 2026.

The new ship will feature six theatrical productions across its entertainment venues, including three new shows at the World Theatre and a new live music production at the Panorama Lounge.

MSC World Asia is the third vessel in the cruise line’s World Class series, following MSC World Europa. The ship will introduce 13 new or reworked experiences and spaces compared with its predecessor, while incorporating design details inspired by Asian culture, art and landscapes.

Entertainment will be spread across several areas of the ship, including the World Theatre, Panorama Lounge, Luna Park, The Harbour and the new Clubhouse.

Among the new productions at the World Theatre is La NoTte, created with Only Child. The show follows characters living in a residence seemingly frozen in time, combining music, dance and theatrical effects.

Sensoria, produced with The Big Idea, will focus on the five senses through music, movement and circus-style performances. Ritmo Divino, created with 2 Creative Entertainment, will combine flamenco and modern interpretations of Spanish folklore in a story centered on a dancer and a matador.

The World Theatre will also host Hall of Fame, a concert-style production celebrating well-known artists and songs from different generations. The show has previously been part of MSC Cruises’ entertainment program and will now be introduced on the line’s Mediterranean sailings.

At the Panorama Lounge, MSC World Asia will debut Sunset Symphonic, a production combining recorded orchestral music with live singers and musicians, choreography and aerial performances.

The venue will also host Queen Symphonic, which features music from Queen alongside a filmed 36-piece orchestra, live musicians, singers, dancers and acrobats.

Live music will be another major part of the ship’s entertainment program. MSC Cruises says 33 musicians will perform daily across different venues, ranging from solo performers and strolling musicians to bands and the company’s duelling pianos shows.

The entertainment program has been developed with input from MSC Creative Studios, the cruise line’s entertainment development and training facility in Edinburgh, Scotland.

MSC World Asia will begin seven-night Mediterranean cruises on December 4, visiting destinations including Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia for Rome, Messina and Valletta.
