Bratislava Airport will showcase 6 new flight routes with a new airline in the summer flight schedule, effective March 30.
The first direct flights from Bratislava to Bari and Milan-Malpensa will depart on Sunday, followed by a new route to Gdansk, which will launch on April 1.
"After seven years, Bratislava is again connected to Poland with a direct flight to the beautiful city of Gdansk. New Italian destinations include Bari and Milan-Malpensa, operated by Ryanair. Starting in June, seasonal flights will also connect Bratislava to Zadar (Croatia) and Skiathos (Greece). Later that month, the airline Norwegian will offer direct flights to Copenhagen," said M. R. Štefánik, CEO and Chairman of the Airport Council.
Bratislava will again offer a direct air route to Croatia, specifically to the popular city of Zadar. This seasonal flight operated by Ryanair will run from June to September, alongside the new route to Skiathos.
A significant addition this summer is the new airline, Norwegian, marking the renewal of a successful partnership between the airport and the airline after 11 years. Starting June 28, 2025, Norwegian will launch regular direct flights from Bratislava to Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, operating twice a week.
In addition to the new routes, various airlines will expand their operations and increase flight frequencies this summer.
Turkish Airlines Pegasus, in addition to its annual route to Istanbul, will renew seasonal flights to Antalya in April and double its operation to 4 flights per week during the peak summer months.
Czech airline Smartwings will operate regular flights from Bratislava to the Greek islands (Rhodes, Crete, Corfu, Zakynthos), Mallorca, Burgas in Bulgaria, Cyprus (Larnaca), and Dubai from June to September.
Ryanair remains the leading airline at Bratislava Airport, offering 24 regular routes, including 5 new destinations: Bari, Milan-Malpensa, Gdansk, Zadar, and Skiathos.
This summer, in addition to regular flights, travel agencies will offer charter services from Bratislava to 43 destinations in 16 countries, operated by 14 different airlines. New additions to their offerings include flights to Turkish cities Alanya and Dalaman, as well as to Athens, Cairo, and other destinations in Egypt.
