German airline Condor Airlines has launched a new daily flight between Berlin and Abu Dhabi.
The inaugural flight took off today on Thursday, October 15,, and the new route is designed to expand flight options between the German capital and the United Arab Emirates, along with improving connectivity to additional destinations around the world.
The line is operated in cooperation with Etihad Airways, within the framework of which passengers will be able to enjoy a direct flight to Abu Dhabi and onward connections to destinations in the Emirati airline's flight network, including Bangkok, Sydney, and Hanoi.
According to Condor, the opening of the line strengthens Berlin and the state of Brandenburg's air connections with destinations in Asia, Australia and Africa, and also makes it easier for international visitors to reach the German capital region.
The launch supports the airlines' efforts to expand route networks and give passengers more connection options between Europe and destinations in the Middle East and beyond.
Dr. Pierre Dominique Prümm, Condor's Chief Commercial Officer, explained that the new codeshare cooperation with Etihad Airways allows their passengers to enjoy not only a direct and attractive flight to Abu Dhabi, but also convenient connections to many destinations in Asia, Australia and Africa.
