Vehicle on Steroids: Hyundai Unveils Sporty Concept Model

Inspired by the Gaming World, the New INSTEROID Model is Based on the Electric INSTER and Offers a Bold, Dynamic Design

Hyundai Motor has revealed teaser images of the INSTEROID, a futuristic concept vehicle that combines design inspired by video games with sporty performance.

The vehicle is based on the electric INSTER, the company's compact electric model, but features a more extravagant design. The name of the model combines "INSTER" and "STEROID".

Since the launch of the INSTER in June 2024, the model has seen success in the European and Korean markets, and now Hyundai is refining its design statement with this innovative version.

The teaser images reveal a design inspired by racing games, featuring 21-inch wheels, highlighted spoilers and rear diffusers, and unique pixel lights.

Hyundai describes the INSTEROID as "a vehicle that looks like it came straight from a digital highway," reflecting the company's vision of integrating technology, engineering, and futuristic design.

Hyundai is expected to unveil the full model in early April 2025, while the regular INSTER will arrive in Israel later this year.
