International hotel giant Hilton continues to expand its presence in the global tourism market, revealing a series of hotel openings and upgrades planned for the final months of 2026.

The plan includes entering new destinations, expanding the company's leading luxury brands, and developing hotels that appeal to different audiences, from luxury tourists to business travelers and those seeking unique accommodation experiences.

At the center of the move is a significant expansion in Malaysia, alongside new hotels in Spain, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

One of the most notable openings is that of Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur, which is expected to take place in October 2026 and mark the luxury brand's entry into Malaysia.

The hotel is located in the prestigious Golden Triangle area of Kuala Lumpur, close to the city's main shopping centers and tourist attractions.

The new property will spread over 23 floors and include 268 spacious suites, with the smallest suite starting at 80 square meters.

The culinary sector will also take center stage at the new hotel, with dining complexes led by chefs Garima Arora and Jean-Georges Vongerichten, alongside Peacock Alley, the hospitality complex associated with the Waldorf Astoria brand.

In addition, the hotel will offer more than 3,745 square meters of conference and event space, including a 1,545 square meter main ballroom.

In December, Hilton is also expected to launch Conrad Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, thus introducing another of its luxury brands to the country.

The new hotel will rise 50 stories and include 481 rooms, in a central location near the Petronas Towers, the capital's shopping areas and business centers.

The hotel plans to have five food and beverage complexes, including two dedicated restaurants and two bars, alongside a spa complex, swimming pool, gym and conference areas.

Opening both hotels in the same city within a short period shows how important the luxury hotel market in Malaysia is to Hilton.

Spain Also on the Map: Hilton's First Hotel in Valencia

The European expansion includes Cuber House Valencia, a Curio Collection by Hilton property expected to open in December 2026 and the chain's first hotel in the Spanish city.

The hotel, with 84 rooms, will open in the El Cabanyal neighborhood, near Las Arenas beach and Valencia's marina.

The design and concept will draw inspiration from the region's maritime heritage, and the hotel will offer a restaurant, entertainment areas, a rooftop bar and a swimming pool.

Valencia, one of Spain's most prominent urban tourist destinations, is also on the map.

London and Singapore: Luxury Brands Continue to Expand

London is also included in the expansion plan, with Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch, a luxury hotel planned to open in the famous historic building located at the end of The Mall, opposite Buckingham Palace.

The hotel is expected to include 100 rooms and suites and turn the familiar building into a new luxury hospitality hub in the British capital.

Singapore is set to mark the NoMad brand's first entry into the Asia Pacific region. The new hotel, NoMad Hilton Singapore, will feature 173 rooms and be located on Orchard Road, one of the city's main shopping, entertainment and dining hubs.

A $25 million investment in a hotel upgrade in the United States. In addition to the new hotels, Hilton is also promoting upgrades to existing properties.

One of the most notable projects is the $25 million renovation of the Conrad Indianapolis, marking the hotel's 20th anniversary. The project includes the renovation of 247 rooms and suites, the hallways, elevators and the main lobby, with a new design focused on a luxurious and modern hospitality experience.

Traveler Bravelers: Up to 3,000 Bonus Points Per Stay

In conjunction with the expansion, Hilton is also launching a new benefit for Hilton Honors members as part of the More Points to Play promotion.

The promotion, which began on October 15 and will run until December 31, 2026, gives club members 3,000 bonus points for each qualifying stay at one of more than 1,000 participating luxury, lifestyle, resort and all-inclusive hotels. At other participating hotels, club members can earn 1,000 bonus points for each qualifying stay, subject to terms and conditions.

The move combines expanding the hotel offering with encouraging loyalty club use, at a time when international hotel chains are competing for tourists seeking advanced accommodation experiences and benefits within loyalty programs.

For Hilton, the wave of openings planned for the end of the year reflects the continued expansion of the global luxury market, with an emphasis on major cities, emerging vacation destinations, and hospitality products that combine lodging, culinary, entertainment, and local experiences.
