Winter may not be associated with cruise vacations, but for those looking to escape the rain and cold, it can be an excellent time to go to sea.

MSC Cruises announces the most popular destinations for winter vacations, including the Canary Islands, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. These destinations allow you to combine a relaxing vacation with pleasant weather and attractive prices.

In the Canary Islands, located in the Atlantic Ocean, winter temperatures usually hover around 20 degrees. A cruise in the region allows you to visit several islands in one week and combine beaches, volcanic landscapes and ancient towns.

In the Caribbean, winter is the most popular season, with warm days, clear waters, and stops at islands and countries such as Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, and the Bahamas.

In the Mediterranean, winter looks different. The weather is usually favorable for walking tours, and the sites and museums in cities like Barcelona, Marseille, and Florence are less crowded than in the summer.

Eyal Attias, CEO of MSC Cruises: "In winter, the atmosphere on board and in the ports of call tends to be calmer, and the itineraries are suitable for both couples looking for a quiet vacation and families interested in a vacation that includes accommodation, food, entertainment and trips to various destinations."
