A violent incident occurred this Afternoon (Thursday) on Sint Nicolaasstraat, near Dam Square in central Amsterdam, where five individuals were injured from knife stabbings.

Local security forces have arrested a suspect in the act.

The official X account of the Dutch police released the following statement regarding the incident: "In a stabbing incident on Sint Nicolaasstraat, near Dam Square, five people were injured. One suspect has been arrested".
