Spring in Cyprus is like a painting coming to life: green fields filled with colorful wildflowers, citrus trees with an intoxicating scent, and small rivers flowing between the mountains. It’s the perfect time for hiking, discovering hidden villages, surrendering to nature in all its colors, and enjoying biking paths or jeep tours in the mountains.
Flavors of the Sea - The Plate Fills with Goodness
A visit to the most popular fish restaurant on the island among Israelis is a must. The location? Perfectly situated on a hill overlooking the sea. The table? Covered with countless small plates of mezze dishes in the best Cypriot tradition, fresh salads, excellent taramasalata, and how can we forget the dreamy grilled fish - as fresh as if it just came out of the water. A Mediterranean feast that opens the heart and appetite.

For wine lovers - Cyprus offers an abundance of boutique wineries with adjacent vineyards, wine tasting workshops, and cheese events in a serene atmosphere. Imagine hours of relaxation in front of a view of vineyards and green mountains, with a glass of quality Cypriot wine by your side. I visited Zambartas Winery, which offers a perfect combination of entertainment with a variety of wine types, and of course, no less important - the explanations we received on each type of wine.
The price per person is about 12.50-17.50 euros, depending on the selection of wines. Includes wine tastings, a platter of cheese and fresh vegetables.

An impressive collection of classic and antique cars, from the early 20th century to rare collectibles, including models from Ford, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, and Jaguar. There are also cars with fascinating historical stories - those that belonged to famous figures, cars that appeared in films, and a variety of car accessories you must see (by the way, such a place does not exist in Israel).

The village of Vouni, located about 40 km northwest of Limassol, is a true gem. Narrow winding streets, stone houses with blue windows and doors, colorful flower boxes at every corner, and a mesmerizing view of the Troodos Mountains. It feels like living inside a postcard. I highly recommend an authentic local restaurant with a variety of Cypriot dishes called Lenia Tavern. I was lucky to eat the food cooked by the grandmother, and equally important, the village council head came to visit.

A romantic sail in the Blue Lagoon will reveal waters of vivid turquoise that are indescribable - you have to see to believe. The mountains in the background, the small villages on the mountain slopes, and the silence all around - for a moment, you feel like you've landed in the Caribbean Islands. The cruise departs from the local harbor, costing about 20 euros per person - definitely a special and unique experience. On warm days, you can also enter the water and enjoy the stunning color of the clear water. Of course, there is also the option to rent a private yacht for those interested.
