MSC Cruises is counting down to the debut of its newest flagship, MSC World Asia, which will welcome its first passengers on December 4, 2026. The ship will introduce a series of new attractions, dining concepts and entertainment experiences as it begins seven-night Mediterranean itineraries.
Described by the cruise line as its most distinctive World Class ship yet, MSC World Asia draws design inspiration from Asian cultures, landscapes and coastlines. The vessel is organized into seven themed districts, combining restaurants, family attractions, entertainment venues and accommodation options.

Food and beverage options will also play a major role in the onboard experience. The ship will feature more than 40 bars, restaurants, lounges and cafés, including two notable additions to MSC Cruises' fleet.

The restaurant will offer Italian cuisine, live cooking, a dedicated Chef's Table, an ocean-view terrace and curated wine experiences.
Another highlight will be the largest Venchi destination at sea within the MSC Cruises fleet. Covering 300 square meters, the venue will combine a chocolate boutique, café and gelateria. Guests will be able to choose from 20 gelato flavors, 20 praline varieties and 11 chocolate bars, as well as the exclusive Crunchy Waves gelato.
The ship will also introduce a new Pan-Asian Street Food venue, bringing together dishes inspired by more than five Asian culinary destinations. The concept will offer both sit-down meals and complimentary grab-and-go options, with an open kitchen and cocktails influenced by Asian flavors.

Families will have a redesigned outdoor area known as The Harbour, featuring a Play Deck, an expanded water park and a two-level high-ropes Adventure Trail. Its headline attraction, Cliffhanger, is described by MSC Cruises as Europe's first over-water swing at sea. The ride will suspend passengers approximately 50 meters above the ocean.
Entertainment will include six productions created specifically for the ship, including three new shows in the World Theatre and a new live music production in the Panorama Lounge.
MSC World Asia will also offer new pool areas inspired by Asian coastlines. The Manila Bay Pool will serve as a central daytime gathering space, while the Coral Cove Pool will feature a retractable roof and a water-droplet installation by artist Elisabetta Milan, inspired by Philippine coral reefs.
For guests seeking a more exclusive experience, the ship will feature 144 MSC Yacht Club suites across seven categories, the widest selection of suite categories offered by the cruise line. A new Royal Duplex Suite will provide additional space and privacy for families and groups.
Following its December debut, MSC World Asia will operate Mediterranean itineraries during its inaugural winter and summer seasons. It is scheduled to move to the Caribbean for winter 2027/2028, offering seven- and 14-night Southern Caribbean cruises.
