The airline points to Kassel Airport as an example of how regional airports can work with carriers to lower operating costs, improve access and attract new routes and passenger growth.

Ryanair argues that Germany's air passenger tax, alongside high security, air traffic control and airport charges, continues to undermine the country's competitiveness and discourage airlines from investing in the German market.

The airline is urging policymakers to address these costs to make Germany a more attractive destination for airline investment and support the expansion of regional air connectivity.
