Hilton has surpassed 100 open hotels and properties in development across the Caribbean, marking another milestone in the company's regional expansion. The latest growth includes the opening of the first dual-brand Homewood Suites by Hilton and Hampton by Hilton property in Puerto Rico, adding 257 rooms to the company's portfolio in San Juan.
The milestone reflects Hilton's strategy of expanding across established destinations such as Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Turks and Caicos, while entering emerging markets including Dominica and Trinidad and Tobago.

The latest addition to Hilton's Caribbean portfolio is the dual-brand development combining Homewood Suites by Hilton and Hampton by Hilton in San Juan. The property brings 257 rooms to the Puerto Rico Convention District, near the Puerto Rico Convention Center and DISTRITO T-Mobile.
The opening marks the debut of Homewood Suites by Hilton in Puerto Rico and introduces Hilton's first dual-brand hotel development in the Caribbean. It also expands Hampton by Hilton's presence on the island beyond Isla Verde.
The project combines an extended-stay hotel with a midscale offering, allowing the two brands to serve different types of travelers while sharing facilities and operational resources. The location is intended to attract business and convention visitors as well as leisure travelers and guests staying for longer periods.
