Air India has introduced dedicated support for Apple's new iPhone Duo, making its mobile app compatible with the device's expanded display from the first day of its launch.
The update redesigns several key sections of the airline's app to take advantage of the device's larger screen, including the Home page, flight booking, My Trips, check-in, flight status and loyalty profile.

A redesigned flight booking experience
The updated Home screen uses the expanded display to show destination cards and additional app content. During the booking process, improved content organisation makes it easier to review and compare available flights.
Air India has also adapted the app to work across the iPhone Duo's outer and inner displays, supporting both portrait and landscape orientations.

The My Trips section has been redesigned to display multiple upcoming and past journeys side by side. Passengers can access important travel information and services, including boarding passes, seat selection, trip details and additional baggage options.
The improvements also extend to check-in and flight status, giving passengers easier access to essential information throughout their journey.
The Loyalty Profile section has received similar treatment, with features such as My Activities, Vouchers, What's New and Earn with Partners arranged to make better use of the larger display.
