John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York is warning passengers that forecast weather conditions could disrupt flight operations on Friday, November 6.

In a notice posted on its official social media account, the airport urged travelers to check directly with their airlines for the latest flight information before heading to the airport.

The FAA's latest operational update confirms weather-related restrictions at JFK.

Thunderstorms have triggered an air traffic management program, with departure gate-hold and taxi delays of 31 to 45 minutes and arrival delays of up to 15 minutes as of 1:15 p.m. UTC.
