EL-AL is expanding its operations in Thailand.
The Israeli airline will significantly increase the number of flights to popular destinations in Thailand during the summer season of 2025.
According to the plan, EL-AL will operate five weekly flights on the Tel Aviv – Bangkok (TLV-BKK) route and three weekly flights on the Tel Aviv – Phuket (TLV-HKT) route. This move aims to meet the growing demand from Israeli travelers for leisure and business tourism in Thailand, particularly during the summer—peak season for tourism to these destinations.
At the same time, EL-AL continues the process of upgrading its fleet. Currently, three out of five Boeing 777 aircraft that have been upgraded and retrofitted to Dreamliner configuration are already operating on long-haul flights to Thailand.
The upgrade process includes adapting the aircraft interiors to the look and service experience of Dreamliner aircraft, featuring 313 seats across three classes: Economy, Premium, and Business.
