Last night (Friday), Hapoel Tel Aviv made history—claiming its first-ever European title after a thrilling 103:94 victory over Gran Canaria in Spain.
With this remarkable win, the red team lifted the coveted EuroCup trophy and secured its spot in next season’s prestigious EuroLeague, where it will compete for the first time alongside long-time rival Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Arkia, which operated the team’s flight to the EuroCup final, congratulates Hapoel Tel Aviv Basketball on its historic championship win – calling it “a tremendous achievement for Israeli sports and basketball in Israel.”
